minutes of the December 17, 2007 MEETING
OF the Val Verde homeowners association

The undersigned, being all of the Directors and officers of the Val Verde Home Association, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation ("Corporation") hereby approve the following minutes of the December 17, 2008 meeting of the Members of the Corporation on January 28, 2008:

The meeting was called to order by Jeremy Kinsey at 7:03 pm in library of the Portal Elementary School. Directors present and participating were Jeremy Kinsey and Susan Lewis. Approximately 10 homeowner members were present. No special guests or non-residents were invited or attended. Announcement of proper notice was made without objection.

Old Business: Reading of the August Minutes was waived. Report was given by Susan Lewis regarding the liens recently filed against those homeowners who failed to remit annual dues.

President’s Report: Jeremy Kinsey reported that he received an anonymous email regarding snow removal. Kinsey confirmed that it is a violation of city ordinance to blow snow into the street.

Treasurer’s Report: John Eylander was excused from the meeting, however, did provide a report of the current bank balance of $18,917.74. There is currently an outstanding check to OPPD and remaining expenses for the year include insurance, holiday light removal and accounting fees. The board will be placing $12,000-13,000 in a CD soon.

Member did comment that the holiday lights look nice at the entrances.

Kinsey reported that negotiations have failed with the Townhome Association. Susan Lewis will draft letter to send to their board. Elections are coming up in January.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
