The undersigned, being all of the Directors and Officers of the Val Verde
Homeowners Association, a
The meeting was called to order by Mary Hewitt at 7:00 pm at

Approval of
October Minutes: The reading of the
November meeting minutes was waived. Members are reminded that all meeting minutes
from every meeting are available on the HOA website (www.valverdehoa.com) or by
requesting copies from the Directors.
November minutes were approved unanimously with one correction to Susan
Lewis’ email address. The email address
for Susan Lewis, covenant committee chairperson, is susanl.lewis@att.net.
2. Old Business:
The Corporation finally received
an estimate for insurance. The insurance
covers officer liability, event liability (i.e. for the neighborhood party),
and property damage for the entrance signs.
The insurance quote is $2982.00 from Inland Marine through the
Silverstone Group. Insurance was not
needed on the white fence along
3. New Business:
The
Corporation filed 2 liens against Val Verde lots 70 (
Hewitt reminded those present of January 23, 2006 annual elections for Corporation Directors. Additional nominations for the Board of Directors should be given to any of the current officers.

Treasurer’s
Report:
Eylander read through the November financial reports. All of the financial reports are posted on the Corporation website at www.valverdehoa.com. Two people have volunteered to perform an independent audit on the financial records.

Committee
Reports
a. Newsletter: Leslie Bingman (chair) reported the newsletter will be available soon.
b. Covenant
Committee: Lewis (chair) reported no
actions during the past month. If any
resident has a covenant question or wishes to report a covenant violation,
please contact Susan Lewis at Susanl.Lewis@att.net
or mail all documentation to Val Verde HOA,
c. Neighborhood Watch committee has a new chairperson. Jerry Kruntorad volunteered at the meeting to lead the neighborhood watch in the subdivision.
6. Open Discussion
Ms. Daugherty read through a prepared letter concerning a dog barking complaint. Someone from the subdivision filed a complaint with the humane society concerning the Daugherty’s dog barking. The Daugherty’s dispute that their dog barks much and requests the anonymous person who filed the complaint to please come and talk to them.
